Let’s talk about the auction script used on NameROI.com

Someone told me once not to wait for all factors to be perfect to wait to launch a new project or business. Her logic said that waiting for the perfect conditions to do anything will seldom occur and if you start something ASAP after coming up with the idea, that action ensures you will actually start it. No second thoughts, no agonizing over why something will or will not work. You adjust as you then move forward!

Good advice for an ADHD guy like me!

I started this site a while back with an idea that frankly, wasn’t well thought out, while it was fun and accomplished some goals and learned I a few more skills, it didn’t really feel right and we shut it down.

Recently after experiencing some bumps in the road in trying to generate cash flow and liquidate some domains in well publicized domain auctions, for whatever reason, we were stymied from having our domains offered by said domain auction and therefore shut out after a two and a half month wait for approval. Two months waste ,….waiting.

 Not willing to let others decide our domain marketing strategy anymore, we started looking for a sales tool that would allow an open marketplace and exchange of our domains for the cash we are seeking.

NameROI.com has been reborn as such with a low reserve auction using a proxy bid format. The domain “NameROI.com” actually now makes sense as ”Name Return On Investment”. A domain name marketplace where the real value of a domain name is decided by it’s immediate users and where a very low reserve guarantees sales are made. Kinda anti-domainer but effective.

The site and plugin script are simple to implement  and based on WordPress. The script can frankly sell any product you offer up personally where personal interaction is needed for the exchange, and frankly, desirable.

While I reccomend the script now, it can only get better.
